Lynne Boschee has more than 20 years of experience in strategic and corporate communications. A co-founder of Ceres Strategic Communications, she now serves the company as a strategic consultant.

Previously, Lynne was vice president of corporate communications for PetSmart, Inc., a Fortune 500 specialty retail company and the leading pet retailer in the country. During her nine-year tenure at PetSmart, Lynne built the company’s strategic communications department and led its investor relations, crisis communications, corporate and consumer PR, media relations, executive and internal communications and emerging media groups.

Before joining the PetSmart team, Lynne managed corporate communications for Phelps Dodge, Inc. (now Freeport McMoRan), where she oversaw the company’s executive and financial communications, and developed its corporate Web site and Intranet platforms. In addition, Lynne held senior-level internal communications and media relations positions with Arizona Public Service Company, the state’s largest investor-owned electric utility. She began her career with Hill & Knowlton, Inc., a global public relations consulting firm.
 
Lynne holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn. She is an Accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, a member of the National Investor Relations Institute. She also sits on the advisory board of Families for Depression Awareness. Her work has received an International ARC Annual Report Gold Award, two International ARC Annual Report Silver Awards and Minnesota IABC Award of Excellence in Media Relations.
